Chris passed from this world on Friday November 17, 2023 at the age of 102. She was born near Holland, Manitoba on July 25 1921 to Elspeth and George Calder. She attended school in Swan Lake. Four days after graduation, Chris joined the Canadian Women’s Army Corp, where she served from 1942 until 1946, a substantial portion of which was in London.
