Memorial mass will take place at 1:00PM on Saturday December 31, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church with ash interment to follow at the Chapel Cemetery Columbarium. Public viewing will be from 2PM-3PM on Thursday at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden with prayers to follow.

1937 ~ 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Art Titchkosky on Sunday December 25, 2022 at Boundary Trails Health Centre.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Elizabeth (nee Hink) and children, Barry (Fabiola), Pat, Glenda (Ken)Hildebrand, Carrie Osika, Gordon (Allison), Janis (George) Roussel, 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Minnie (nee Gundrum) and siblings, Evelyn Hildebrand, Florence Matzner, Allan and son-in-law, Brian Osika.

Arthur grew up in the 1-6 district. He married Liz in 1959 and farmed until 1978. The family moved to Morden where he worked in construction painting and then took classes to become and arborist before care taking at Stanley Park. His retirement was spent traveling to Osoyoos, BC each winter and enjoying the temperate climate, dancing and socializing with family and friends. His greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends. He loved fishing, hunting and most of all visiting with those whom he loved.

Memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday December 31, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Morden with inurnment at Chapel Cemetery Columbarium. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Art’s memory to the St. John Church Building Fund.
