Johnny Reimer
1954 ~ 2020

John was born March 19th 1954 in Altona to John and Susana Reimer. He was predeceased by brother Peter, father John, one granddaughter Brianna and Mother Susana. He is survived by his wife Donna Marie, one daughter Brenda Dawn Clouston, husband Richard, one son Gary Paul Reimer, wife Annie, grandchildren Bradley, Ashton, Mzi and Jessica and a great grandson Malachi, 6 siblings Susie, Jake, Bill, Cornie, Mary, David and their spouses and many many nieces and nephews.

He was baptized upon the confession of his faith and went on to help serve the Lord by serving the homeless and speaking the Gospel to them, preparing food and speaking the word of God to whomever would listen. (He always had a listener)

As a young man he was a great help to his mom by telling stories to his 7 siblings. This gift continued on through his life as he entertained many friends and family members especially nieces and nephews. Listeners usually sat spellbound by his stories.

John and Donna united in marriage in 1979. They raised two children Brenda and Gary.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He would always take the time to go out in the snow to play and make snowmen when the kids were younger. He enjoyed the blessing of watching the grandchildren become young adults. He was also blessed to see his first great grandchild.

He suffered a severe stroke on Tuesday July 21st. John put up the good fight for his family and friends. The Lord called him home in the early morning of July 24th. Many family and friends gathered in the Boundary TrailsHealth Centre parking lot to support Donna.

Isaiah 41 verse 10  Fear thou not; for I  am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God. I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea; I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Many thanks to Doctor Duff and the Boundary Trails nurses and support staff as well as all the volunteers. Thank you to all the family for their support with food, comfort and lodging.

God Bless
