Jim, Jess, Becky & Cristin,

I was very sad to hear of your mom and grandmother’s passing. I have very fond memories of her visits to Tyndall and visiting her in Winnipeg many years ago. She was always very welcoming, cheerful and had a great sense of humour. My sincere condolences to you and your family. May she Rest In Peace.

Irene was a pleasure to have as one of our residents at the Legion Houses in Morden. She had a delightful sense of humour and was a very knowledgeable person. We all enjoyed her stories of bygone days!

From birth, my Mother has always been by my side. We have lived in different provinces and on different continents, and she has never been far. Mom remains by my side today, and for the rest of time.

Grandma was always great company and had such a positive outlook. I have so many great memories of her. One of my favourites was our camping trip in Morden. It was wonderful that even in her 80s, she could go camping with us. We had a lot of laughs and a great time enjoying the hot summer days. I believe she enjoyed her life to the fullest.

I will always remember our Grandma for her positive and cheerful disposition! She was also a great artist whom inspired me to follow in her footsteps. I am thankful for all the wonderful memories and that she was able to visit us here in Ontario to celebrate my wedding. Just yesterday I looked at a picture of Grandma and our family having fun at Becky’s pool following the dress rehearsal! Thank you Grandma. I love you very much.

Auntie Irene had a real zest for life and laughter. At family gatherings her laugh could be heard above all the other goings on. She took a real interest in the lives of her nieces and nephews and always took time to engage in conversation with us. Our sympathies to Wayne and James. Don and Sonja Minty
