Memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday February 15, 2020 at the Gospel Mission Church. Viewing will be Thursday from 6PM-8PM and on Friday from 1PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler. Private family interment will take place prior to the service. Due to allergies, flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Carol's memory to the BTHC Foundation.

Carol Anne Fehr (nee Oldford)
1977 – 2020
 
It is with heavy hearts we announce that Carol Anne (Oldford) Fehr, aged 42, surrounded by her family and close friends, journeyed on to her eternal resting place on Wednesday February 12, 2020, after a short battle with cancer.
 
Born October 1, 1977 in Montreal, Quebec, Carol was dedicated to the Lord at The Salvation Army in Guelph, Ontario. Carol received her education: kindergarten to grade 6, in Toronto, Ontario, Junior high in Winnipeg, Manitoba and high school in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. She enjoyed sports like baseball, volleyball and basketball. She attended Beavers, Brownies, Girl Guides and Salvation Army Junior Band playing baritone and trombone. In her youth she worked as a camp counselor, maintenance and grounds keeper, retail clerk and as an adult worked as waitress and management of family restaurant, before becoming a health care aide. While working as a health care aide she met her soul mate and love of her life, Harvey B Fehr. They were married September 21, 2002 in Altona, Manitoba.
 
Carol leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Harvey B Fehr, daughter, Danielle and Ryan Warkentin, son, Curtis Fehr, daughter, Terianne Fehr, parents, Robert and Marjorie (Owens) Oldford, Irene (Enns) Fehr, Carol’s siblings, Margaret Oldford (Robert and Gavin), Mary Ann Manone and Tim Sacrey, Harvey’s siblings, Robert and Coral Fehr (Heather and Matthew), Gail and Ken Jones, Francis and Brenda Fehr (Brady and Joel), Phyllis Fehr (Ty and Brooke), aunts and uncles, David and Karen Oldford, Don and Madeline Oldford, Rance Oldford, Shirley Merke, Reta Owens and Norman Beattie, Ken Owens, John Owens, Prudence (Fouillard) Owens, Linda and Larry Cox, Ray and Carol Enns, Ron and Elaine Enns, Roxie Robertson. She also leaves many cousins and close friends. She was predeceased by, her grandfather, Howard Joseph Owens, her grandmother, Margaret Jessie (Arnold) Owens, her grandmother, Kathleen (Goodnough) Oldford, her grandfather, Robert Oldford, uncle William Horst Merke and sons, Ronald and Verne Merke, uncle Gerald Howard Robert Owens and his wife, Joyce (Young) Owens, cousin, Catherine Ann McLeod, daughter of Reta Owens, uncle William Stanley Owens, uncle Rick Enns.
 
The family would like to thank all the doctors, and nursing staff of Boundary Trails Health Centre, St Boniface Hospital and Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre for their thoughtful care. We also thank family and close friends for being her caregivers and for their loving care during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Carol's memory to the Boundary Trails Health Centre Foundation.
