Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, July 5, 2019 at the Plum Coulee Bergthaler Mennonite Church.  Viewing will be from 1PM-6PM on Thursday at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler and at the church prior to the service.  Interment to follow at the Plum Coulee Cemetery.  Donations may be made in Abe's memory to Salem Foundation Inc.

 1930 ~ 2019 

Abe J Peters, son of Agnes (nee Dyck) and James Peters of Plum Coulee, MB passed away peacefully at Salem Home in the early hours of Tuesday July 2, 2019. 

He is survived by his wife of almost 63 years, Louella and their three children: son, Llewellyn and wife, Esther, grandchildren, Michael, David and wife, Samantha, Nathan and Lisa; son, Lyndon and wife, Melanie, grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Justin and Adam; daughter, Heather, grandchildren, Kiera and Roen; sister, Tina and brothers, Isaac and wife, Hedy, Ed and wife, Alice, Henry, sisters-in-law, Helen, Irene, Sadie and husband, George, Gerty, Marie and Sophie, Mary and husband, Walter, Nettie and husband, Ben, Marge and husband, George, Mary (wife of Henry), brother-in-law, Ed, Ben and wife, Tina, Pete and wife, Marie, Abe and many nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Mary and brothers, Jake, Frank, Pete and wife, Katie, John, Bill and brother-in-law, Harry.

Uncle Abe had life figured out. How did he know everything? And how could he accomplish so much. I was a boy then, but I still wonder how he always knew what to plant and exactly how to build a granary.

my condolence to family & friends, I remember playing little league baseball, you could always hear abe cheer ! or on a street ? outside …. he had that voice & laugh ! will be missed !
