Sorry to hear of cousin Herb's passing. I always enjoyed his booming voice when he phoned us. He has now rejoined his parents in the presence of our Lord Jesus. May Donna be comforted in this knowledge in the days ahead.

Herb was always "that fun cousin from Manitoba" when we were kids. I have found memories of times walking back down the lane, laughing at his jokes, and admiring his stories. Sad to here of his passing.

So sad, nothing now but memories, so many fine memories from Winnipeg, Vancouver and Mexico. Thinking of you Donna, Rosie and Nancy.

Worked with Herb on a TV music project in 1975 in Winnipeg. Then, and now in the remembering, I was in awe of how much he was a gentle soul and a musical genius. Gone too soon.

So sorry to hear of Herb's passing. As mentioned by others, he had a kind heart and original sense of humor. Like his father, he was an electronics wizard (he could build amps from schematics) and musical prodigy (on the "gitbox" as he called his guitar). My heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.

Summer of 72 I lived with Herb near Kits Beach, Vancouver. We threw the football, Herb played his guitar and we sang - our favourite song "Out on the dock of the bay". Awesome memories of Herb.

I first met Herb in Vancouver in 1973, at an audition for a rock band. I became one of the guitarists in the band, and he ended up playing bass. We played music and hung out together in 73-74. Herb was a talented musician and singer, and a kind soul. I have fond memories of the time we spent together as musicians. Goodbye, my friend.
