Anne Dyck
2001 - 2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our precious daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend Anne Dyck. Anne entered Heaven’s gate on Sunday July 1, 2018 at approximately 11:55pm.

Anne was born on May 10, 2001 in Morden MB to Henry and Anna Dyck. She was the oldest of 3 children. She grew up in the community of Roland Mb and attended Roland school until grade 6 and high school at Miami MB.

Anne was always a joy to be around, She had a kind and caring personality and it affected everyone she was around. Her smile was contagious and before you knew it, the whole room was smiling and laughing.

Anne enjoyed many things in life. Singing, drama and babysitting are just a few. She was involved in the Miami school choir as well as their drama program. She enjoyed being part of Miami school plays and was happy to have any role – whether big or small.

Anne enjoyed babysitting. If she wasn’t busy babysitting children in the community, she was babysitting her younger cousins.

Anne also enjoyed spending time with her family. Many summers were spent camping at Stephenfield fishing, and road trips to visit extended family in Alberta or Ontario. She was always concerned about the cats when we would be gone on road trips as she had a deep appreciation for cats.

Anne dedicated her life to Jesus on September 16, 2017 at youth camp. She was so excited about this step in her faith. We would often find her reading her Bible late at night instead of going to bed. She enjoyed spending time in God’s word, and often times journal about a specific scripture verse and what it meant to her.

Anne was an example of what it means to be a servant for the Lord. She enjoyed helping others. She would spend some of her summers helping her Grandparents and others in the community in different ways.

Anne will be deeply missed by her parents Henry & Anna Dyck, brothers, William and Jim. Grandparents Abe & Katharina Harder, Aunts and Uncles, Jake & Tina Wiebe, Pete & Kelly Harder, Dave Harder, Matt & Sue Letkeman, Henry & Lina Peters, Mike & Jenn Giesbrecht, Albert Harder, John & Tina Dyck, Jacob Neufeld, Abe & Mary Neufeld, Cornie & Aganetha Dyck, Susana Dyck, George & Susan Peters, John & Helen Fehr, Pete & Nancy Dyck, Bill & Anna Dyck, John & Margaret Peters, Pete & Lisa Neufeld, Mike & Tina Paton and their families, also by her Boyfriend, Ernst Loewen and his family.

Anne was predeceased by her Grandparents, Jacob & Anna Dyck, Aunt Anna Neufeld, Uncle Jake Dyck, Cousins, Tina Wiebe, Kelsie Peters and Dustin Wiebe.

We as a family would like to thank relatives, friends and the community for all the support and the kindness shown. Very special thanks to all of the emergency personnel who were on scene that night.
