Lawrence was born at Altamont, MB on May 7, 1950.  He was a loving and supportive husband and a devoted father.  He farmed alongside his brother Bob on the family farm for many years until 1986, when he started a new venture, buying his first shale truck which he drove for twelve years and eventually become an equipment operator for the RM of Pembina till 2002.  With an early retirement, he committed himself to his family and friends and later in 2005 his new wife, Judy and her family.  Throughout the past years he took up new hobbies, travelling with family and friends and the purchase of his `67 Plymouth VIP.  He enjoyed many car shows with the local car club.

Papa loved spending time with his grandchildren, and will be sadly missed by all.  He was a dedicated husband, father, Papa, uncle, friend and always put everyone’s needs ahead of his own.
