Goertzen, Frank

Frank Goertzen

May 20, 1955 – January 18, 2016

Goertzen FrankIn the early morning of Monday, January 18, 2016 we suffered the tremendous loss of Frank Goertzen; a man I was honored to call my husband and to others he was a dear father, brother, uncle and friend.

Frankie peacefully went home to Jesus where there is no more pain, no more sorrow. Where the sun always shines and there are plenty of fishing holes.

He will be remembered for his great love to his wife, Brenda, also the friendships he had with family and many dear friends. He will be so very missed by all. He loved the outdoors including fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, quading, motorcycling, camping, bon-fires, boating and much more. He fought a fight with cancer he could not win. God answered a miracle when I asked to give him peace and no more pain. God brought him to his resting place in Heaven up above. Rest in peace, Baby until we meet again!

Frank has been cremated. Memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday January 22, 2016 at the Church of God in Morden, MB. Thanks to all the people who loved, cared and helped in his care at home and at the hospital. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Rev.21:4

I have vivid memories of being a passenger on Frank's snowmobile and motorcycle and being both terrified and exhilerated. He had a gift for living on the edge with joy!

Frank and I shared 2 children, Joshua and Jolene, and 5 of the very best grandchildren in the world. Kaylee,16, Shaymys, 13, Makenna, 7, Henry, 5, and Mahraya, 4. They truly loved their Grandpa Frank with the older grandkids having the Blessing of remembrance. Rest in Peace Frank, you are surrounded with people that loved you and your heart in Heaven in Heaven now and the hard fought battle is over
