Timothy Weldon Pauls
1961 - 2014
Timothy Weldon Pauls, aged 52 years of Morden, MB died suddenly but peacefully on Wednesday April 2, 2014 at Boundary Trails Health Centre.
Tim was born April 19, 1961 in the Morden Hospital. Tim was a happy, content baby and child growing up on the family farm. In Grade 8, he attended St. John's Cathedral Boy’s School in Selkirk. This was a long, hard decision made by his parents and because of it he graduated from St. John's with many canoe trips, lacrosse games, snowshoeing, running and all kinds of interesting expertise. He loved playing cards and even more so, challenging someone to a game of chess. After Grade 12, he went to Bible School for a semester and worked at various jobs. He was a people pleaser and had a heart of generosity. He found satisfaction with the job he had at Monarch Industries and worked there for 20+ years. He took his job very seriously. He was a history buff and could quote dates, facts and most anything you asked him. He read prolifically and enjoyed engaging people in word games.
In 1984, he married Roseanne Waldner and they were married for 13 years. He was thankful that they could remain friends when their marriage ended. In later years Tim found himself developing health issues including diabetes. He had spent the last 2 ½ years having dialysis at Boundary Trails Health Centre three times a week. It was hard to see him struggling with his new lifestyle.
He will be missed by his mom, Eileen Pauls, his sister, Angie and her husband, Wes Reimer (their children, Josh, Jeremy and wife, Amy, daughter, Sara and fiancé Nathan Wiebe), his brother, Steve and wife, Carole (their sons, Russell and Matthew), his brother, Jerry and wife, Cindy (their children, Sam, Levi and Emily). He was predeceased by his dad, Johnny Pauls on July 26, 2012.
A private family memorial was held at Wiebe Funeral Chapel in Morden. The family would like to thank the amazing nurses, especially Laurie Magotiaux and doctors, especially Dr. Kevin Convery.
