Dad lived in Morden for a number of years prior to moving into the Lion`s Manor.  This move was made so that he could be provided with the care that he needed.  He lived there for approximately 2.5 years before he was admitted to Boundary Trails Health Centre where he remained until his passing.

He passed away on Saturday November 8, 2014 at 3:15 p.m. at The Boundary Trails Health Centre after a yearlong battle with cancer.  Dad leaves behind his five children: Robert and Coral Fehr and their children, Heather and Matthew, Gail and Ken Jones, Harvey and Carol Fehr and their children, Danielle, Curtis and Teri-Anne, Francis and Brenda Fehr and their children, Brady and Joel and Phyllis Fehr and her children, Ty and Brook.  Dad was predeceased by his father, Isaac in August of 1978 and his mother, Agatha in January of 1999.  He was also predeceased by his older brother, Isaac in infancy, his sister, Mary, his brother–in–law, Joe McDonald and his sister-in-law, Hilda Fehr.

Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday November 13, 2014 at the Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with interment at Westridge Memorial Gardens.

We feel very blessed to have had time with Dad over this past year to leave nothing unsaid or undone.  This was truly a gift from God.  We as a family have been taught to love and forgive on a deeper level.  We believe that he is now in the presence of God where he will no longer suffer.
