rogers don sqOn Tuesday October 28, 2014 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Don Rogers aged 82 years of Manitou, MB formerly of Darlingford went to his eternal rest.

He leaves to mourn his passing two daughters, Lynda and Don Parsons, Wanda and Aime Talbot, five sons, Randy and Donna, Clint and Karen, Brent and Yvonne, Jeff and Ailsa, Blair and Michelle, three grandsons, Blaine, Craig and Mason, ten granddaughters, Amber, Courtney, Amanda, Allison, Megan, Merissa, C.C., Kelsey, Kaitlin, and Breann, three great grandsons, Tanner, Kaiden, Bauer, five great granddaughters, Harper, Peyton, Kyla, Ava, Kinley, two sisters, Anne, and Bea and two brothers, Jim and Al. He was predeceased by his first wife, Norma (1976) and second, Donny (2013).

Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday October 31, 2014 at St. Andrew’s United Church in Manitou with interment at Rosewood Memorial Gardens in Brandon. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Don’s memory to either Heart & Stroke Foundation or Cancer Care Manitoba.

Our sympathies to all family members both Rogers and McElroys. Many of fond memories of Don's years at the Auction Market in Manitou and the year we won the Cattle Mans Bonspiel in Lethbridge. Will never forget his whistle.

Thinking of you all today and of all the fun times we shared as kids and adults. Your dad was awesome. Remembering him dragging all us kids around with the pony rides is one of my favorite memories. And most recently when he would stop in on his trips to Alberta. Hugs to everyone.

I remember going with my Dad as well as my brother and sisters to the cattle auction sales where your Dad was the auctioneer in Brandon. He was a wonderful and caring man.
