bergen dave sqOn Wednesday December 18, 2013 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, David H Bergen, aged 90 years of Winkler, MB formerly of Plum Coulee went to his eternal rest.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Marge (nee Giesbrecht), one daughter, Dorothy Bergen of Morden, John and Leona Bergen of Winkler, Jim and Barbara Bergen of Altona and Dan and Mari Bergen of Winkler as well as seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his first wife, Tina (nee Neufeld) in 1988 and one son, Harry in 1997.

Funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday December 22, 2013 at Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with interment at Plum Coulee Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Dave’s memory to the Canadian Food Grains Bank.

Mr. Bergen was the nicest sweetest man. I've known him all my life and he was always so kind and a very caring man. To Marge and the family I lift up my prayers for you at this difficult time. He will be missed
