Hi Elisabeth,

Fred had such a wonderful sense of humour and the love you demonstrated for each other was inspiring. I feel blessed to have known him and for the time with both of you when you worked at Ten Thousand Villages. I am thinking of you and all your family.

Love, Jeanette

I have had you, Aunt Elisabeth, and my cousins...Chuck (sorry if you no longer go by this), Joanie, Leonard and Gordon, on my mind a great deal these days. With today being Uncle Fred's funeral, it will be hard, and I think memories of James funeral may also come to you. So I pray that peace also floods you along with the pain. With much love, Brenda

Dear Aunt Elizabeth,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have great memories of "Uncle Fritz" and his contagious smile. I will be spending a day at the Okanagan Gleaners in October and will be thinking of Uncle Fred and you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Elisabeth and family. We really appreciated Fred's practical hands-on faith. It was a privilege to be in the same small group at Steinmann Mennonite Church in Ontario. May you sense God's arms holding you tight during these days.

It's been many years since high school but Herb and Joan my heartfelt sympathys go out to you and your families. I understand it is not an easy road but with time God does heal the soul with time. You will never forget him and will always miss him but God gives us the peace that we need when we need it.
