Nathaniel Abram Scott Bueckert

1995 - 2011

Nate_Bueckert_SqEarly on Saturday, November 12, 2011 Nate Bueckert, aged 16 years of Elm Creek, MB suddenly passed away.

Nate liked playing basket ball and loved spending time with his two younger sisters. With a great sense of humour, Nate always had a joke ready for someone when they needed a laugh, the best timing? Haha, not always but he sure knew how to enlighten a room of people. Nate was loyal, trustworthy and an overall blessing to both family and friend. He will be remembered in his courage and strife to do what he felt was right.

He leaves to mourn his passing his parents, Jake Thiessen of Winkler, Eva Bueckert and Joe Martens of Elm Creek, two sisters, Emma and Karli, grandparents, Abram and Agatha Thiessen of Winkler and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Abraham and Eva Bueckert.

Funeral service was held on Friday November 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with interment at Rosenbach Cemetery.

Nate was the most inspiring and selfless person. He loved doing volunteer work and helped through EMO flood relief in the Westbourne area. Nate, against all odds always stood against bullying, always supported the underdog- Needless to say he was always there for people in need, always offering words of encouragement striving for the silver lining.

If friends so desire, donations may be made in Nate’s memory to the Gladstone/Westbourne Volunteer Fire Department C/O Dave Thiessen Box 539 Gladstone, MB R0J 0T0.

No one wants to feel pain,

No one wants to feel sorrow,

You can’t have a rainbow without a little rain.

Nate lives on in every rainbow.
