Cornelius J. Klassen

1933 – 2011

On Sunday August 28, 2011 at Salem Home in Winkler, MB, Cornie Klassen, aged 78 years formerly of New Hope and the Rudnerweide district went to his eternal rest.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Mary (nee Peters) of Winkler, three sons, Tim and Sandi Klassen, Greg and Delilah Klassen, Matthew Klassen and fiancé, Candice Friesen, all of Altona, as well as seven grandchildren. He is survived by three brothers and one sister.

Funeral service was held on Friday September 2, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Winkler Mennonite Brethren Church with interment at Westridge Memorial Gardens.

If friends so desire, donations may be made in Cornie’s memory to either the Salem Foundation Inc. or the Canadian Food Grains Bank.
