Henry Penner

1955 – 2011 

On Thursday August 11, 2011 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Henry Penner aged 55 years of Our Home in Winkler, MB went to his eternal rest. 

He leaves to mourn his passing, a sister, Eva and John Klassen of Blumstein, three brothers, Abe and Kathy Penner of Winkler, John and Lois Penner of Blumenfeld and George Penner of Winkler as well as five nieces and three nephews and his special family at Our Home. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Margaret Penner. 

Funeral service was held on Monday August 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church Interment followed at Blumenfeld Cemetery. 

We as a family wish to extend a special thanks to the staff from the “Our Home” residence who have spent many hours caring for Henry over the past years; the staff at Gateway Resources, Dr. Boey, Dr. Woelk and the hospital staff; Pastor Art Wiebe and Pastor Jake Heide for officiating at the funeral, the servers and Wiebe Funeral Home. The family also wishes to express thanks for all the prayers, cards, flowers and words of encouragement from family and friends.
