Justina was born on January 15, 1930 in the Kronsweide School District.  On October 14, 1950 she married the love of her life, Edward.  Besides being a loving wife and mother to her family, she also enjoyed spending countless hours sewing, knitting, crocheting, baking and time in her garden.  Most of the fruits of her labour were given away to grateful family and friends. Her greatest blessing was her family.  Mom always had more than enough love in her heart for each new grandchild that came along and welcomed each new member to her growing family with open arms.  She was warm, kind, generous and witty and brought so much joy to those who knew her.  We were so blessed to have her in our lives and our memories of her will remain in our hearts forever.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11:00 am. at Grace Mennonite Church in Winkler, MB with interment at the Lowe Farm Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Dr. Caswill and the staff of Boundary Trails Health Centre for the excellent care extended to Mom.  We are also thankful for the many visits and prayers of friends and family which gave her such comfort and sustained our family throughout these last few months.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Justina can be made to the Salem Foundation 165 15th St. Winkler, MB R6W 1T8.
