Cornelius (Neil) Wolf
1915 - 2011
Neil Wolf, aged 95 years formerly of Clearwater and Blumenfeld, MB passed away suddenly on Friday June 17, 2011 at his home in Pilot Mound, MB.
Uncle Neil was born October 4, 1915 in the village of Chortitz, MB and grew up in Blumenfeld village, Manitoba. He was a farm labourer and worked for a fa rmer in the Clearwater area H.D. Churchill. He was a very private person and retired around 1980 to live in Pilot Mound until his death. Uncle Cornie loved farming all his life and also enjoyed his car. He often drove around the countryside and visited his siblings in the Morden, Winkler and Brandon areas.
Left to remember him is his sister-in-law, Helen Wolfe of Winkler and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and their families and many friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Johann J and Elisabeth (nee Wall) Wolf, three sisters, Katherina and brother-in-law, Isaac Dyck, Sara and brother-in-law, Peter P Reimer, Elisabeth and brother-in-law, John Letkeman, two brothers, John E and sister-in-law, Annie Wolfe, Isaac Wolfe.
Funeral service was held on Thursday June 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel in Morden with interment at Blumenfeld Cemetery.
