Katherina Harder (nee Thiessen)

1919 - 2008

On Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Boundary Trails Health Centre Katherina Harder, aged 89 years of Winkler, MB formerly of Lowe Farm, Kronsweide and Brandon went to her eternal rest.

She leaves to mourn her passing 6 daughters, Natalie Anne (James) Falconer of Calgary, AB, Mary Jane Harder of Winkler, Nora Helen and Pat McNeill of Vancouver, BC, Margaret Rose and Jack Heide of Boissevain, Katherina May and Brian Hadley of Brandon, Edna Allison and Bohdan Pisak of Vancouver, BC; 2 sons, Aaron John Harder of Palm Springs, CA, David Daniel Harder of Brandon; daughter-in-law, Maureen (Henry) Harder of Calgary, AB; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John D. Harder in 1998; 1 son, Henry Edward (2005); 1 son-in-law, James Falconer (2008).

Funeral service was held on Monday, May 26, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Rev. Art Wiebe officiating.  Interment followed at Winkler Cemetery.
