It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Karlowsky from his earthly home on Friday, September 5, 2008 at the Carman Memorial Hospital.

Ronnie was born December 8, 1949 to Ernie and Elsie Karlowsky and grew up on the family farm in Brunkild.

Ronnie loved singing and playing the guitar from an early age. This talent developed and grew into writing and composing songs as well as singing. Throughout the years he pursued many interests. For a short while, they lived in BC but the Prairies called him back. Here is where he felt at home. Whatever venture he was in, Linda and music were his companions. He loved life, his family and music.

He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife, Linda (nee Karlenzig); 2 daughters, April and Sheldon Maynes of Calgary, AB (Cale, Kennedy), Kira and Gannon Wills of Calgary, AB (Colton), 2 sons, Charlton "Charlie" of Brunkild (Brynn, Maddie) and Joshua "Josh" and Lisa Pasieczka of Brunkild; his father, Ernie Karlowsky of Winnipeg; his 3 sisters, Debbie and Lorne Roberts (Sean and Angela and their children Rylan and Kylie, Lindsay and Curtis Bolton and their children, Adam and Amy), Toni and Ken Brick, Stacy Karlowsky (Jordayn); his brother, Robin Karlowsky and Debbie Hanna (Jesse, Kayli) and by his in-laws, Art and Arlene Karlenzig of Brunkild.

He was predeceased by his mother, Elsie (nee Schmidt) Karlowsky in 1965.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will take place on Friday September 12, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Brunkild Memorial Hall in Brunkild with Pastor Leslie Poulin officiating.
