On Sunday, September 2, 2007, Darcy Enns aged 21 years of Winkler, MB passed away as the result of a motor vehicle accident.

Darcy was born in Winnipeg and lived with his mother until the age of 12 years.  At this time, he chose to live the small town life and moved to Winkler to live with his dad.  Darcy accepted Jesus as his Saviour at the age of 13 years while attending the “Power to Change” crusade in Morden.  He loved the outdoors and spent many hours on his bike and rollerblades until he got his drivers license.  Darcy’s passion was driving his motorcycles, dirt bikes and 4 wheel drive trucks.  He had an endless amount of energy that was evident in the many ways he helped anyone in need.  Darcy’s heart was huge.  His family and friends will miss his many unexpected drop in visits.

He is survived by his parents, Anne Enns (nee Wall) of Winnipeg; Chris Enns of Winkler; 1 brother, Jason and Kristina and nephew Riley of Morden; grandma and grandpa David and Katherine Wall of Winkler; grandma Anna Enns of Schanzenfeld and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including Janet Enns and Greg Zayets.

He was predeceased by his grandpa, Abe P. Enns in 2003.

Funeral service was held on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Winkler EMM Church.  Interment followed at the Reinland Mennonite Church Cemetery in Schanzenfeld.

Darcy was deeply loved and will be sadly missed.  Anyone who knew Darcy will never forget his BEAUTIFUL SMILE!

Darcy, with your beautiful smile and great sense of humour,

Your practical little jokes are what we all remember.

You have a heart of gold that everyone can see

It’s an awesome feeling that we all agree.

Sailing through the snow in winter time

And everyone watching from behind,

Learning to drive so full life and lust

Looking back and yelling, “Mom, am I making lots of dust?”

Brave as a soldier and showing no fear,

Now we are left with all these tears.

These are the things why we love you so,

Always remembering and never letting go.  Auntie Tina.

Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler in care of arrangements.
