Maria Peters (nee Driedger)

1912 - 2007

On Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Salem Home in Winkler, MB, Maria Peters aged 94 years formerly of the Rosenbach school district went to her eternal rest.

She leaves to mourn her passing 2 daughters, Eva and Jim Harms of Altona, Martha and Richard Letkeman of Winkler district; 3 sons, Abe and Betty of Winnipeg, David and Alice of Yorkton, SK, Jon R. Jake and Janice of Winnipeg as well as 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 1 sister, Eva and Jake Neudorf of Winkler.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Abram M. Peters (1987) and 2 brothers in infancy, 1 at age 6, 1 at age 31 and 2 in later years.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Winkler EMM Church with Rev. Jerry Hildebrand officiating.  Interment followed at Winkler Cemetery.
