Janice Phylaine Martens

1942 - 2003

On Sunday April 13, 2003, at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Janice Martens (nee Frovarp), age 61, of the Morden District, went to her eternal rest.

She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband Jake B. Martens; 2 daughters Kim and husband Glenn Penner of Glenboro and children Amanda, Meghan; Charisse and husband Brian Wurch of Winnipeg; 1 son Greg and wife Michelle Martens of Alix, AB., and children Kayla, Britany, Tyra; 2 sisters Mavis and husband Marvin Onstad of Park River, N.D.; Delaine and husband Paul Peoples of Park River, N.D. and families.

She was predeceased by parents Palmer and Tilda Frovarp, and sister Dolores Frovarp.

Funeral service was held Wednesday April 16, 2003, 3:00pm at Morden Alliance Church, Rev. Doug Gerrard officiating.  Interment followed at the Chapel Cemetery, Morden.  Donations may be made to Alliance Missions, available at the church.
