Ernie Krushel, Nov.jpgPeacefully, woth his sons at his side, Ernie Krushel, a long time resident of Morde, went to his eternal rest on November 4, 2003, at the Morden Tabor Home.

For many years, Ernie was an operator and Manager of the Morden Foundry, an affiliation with Standard Gas Engine Works. He also worked at Monarch Industries and Triple E of Winkler. Ernie is fondly remembered for his love of flying, fishing and camping. In his later years, he enjoyed tinkering in his own shop building hoppy windmills and utility trailers

He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Dorothy Krushel (nee Loewen); 3 sons Al and Sally of Morden, their two daughters Andrea and Fionna of Winnipeg; Warren & Lisa of Calgary, AB, their sons Connor and Nathaniel of Calgary; Glen of Winnipeg, and families.

He will be remembered as a quiet and gentle man with a sense of humor who took pleasure in the simple things in life.

Funeral service was held Friday November 7, 2003, 2:00pm at the Morden Alliance Church, Rev. Morris Vincent officiating. Interment will take place at the Hillside Cemetery, Morden at a later date. Donations may be made to the Tabor Home Memorial Fund.

The family wishes to thank the Morden Tabor Home and Wiebe's Funeral chapel for the care and attention they extended in Ernie’s life and in his passing.
