Sadie “Sarah” Klassen
1923-2001
On Wednesday, May 16, 2001 at the Salem Home, Winkler, Sadie “Sarah” Klassen (nee Neufeld), age 77 of Winkler, formerly of Schanzenfeld, went to her eternal rest.
She was predeceased by her estranged husband Isaac P. Klassen (1978), one son Herb (1998) and one great-grandson.
She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter Doris & Harvey Wall; one daughter-in-law Anne (Herb) Klassen; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Sunday, May 20, at 2:00pm, Sommerfeld Mennonite Church, Winkler with Rev. Abe Wiebe officiating.
Interment followed at the Plum Coulee Cemetery. Donations may be made to Salem Foundation Inc., (165 15th St., Winkler, MB R6W 1T8).
