Glenn Stephen Dyck

1963-2001

Glenn Stephen Dyck suddenly went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2001 at the age of 38.

Glenn was born October 12, 1963 to Lawrence and Alice Dyck in Winnipeg, MB. He graduated from highschool in Dalmeny, SK. Glenn became a Christian at the age of 6 or 7 and as a youth played guitar in church, enjoyed young peoples and loved working with electronics. Glenn had a career as a sales consultant which was very successful.

Glenn married Judi Lorraine Rathwell on August 25, 1990 and they had two beautiful children; Steffen Glenn on November 12, 1990 and Jessica Lauren on May 16, 1992. Glenn loved spending time with his children at his farm in Brunkild. He was a good ‘papa’ to them.

Glenn will be remembered for his love for his children. He was a dynamic, charismatic and energetic person. He was a ‘child at heart’, a good athlete and serious competitor, and had a love of motorbikes, camping and the great outdoors. Glenn made the best spaghetti in the world and had a great adoration for his mother’s gravy.

He is survived by his son Steffen and his daughter Jessica, and their mother Judi; his parents Lawrence and Alice Dyck; his sisters, Pamela and Larry Goetz and their children Ryan and Jaclyn, Cindy and Wade and their children Vienna and Bruin and Renatta and Vern Doerksen and their children Alexi, Ryker, and Jada; his grandmother Justina Dyck, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral service was held Friday, October 26, 2001 at 1:00pm at Alliance Church Morden with Pastor Darren Driedger officiating. Interment followed at the Chapel Cemetery, Morden.
