Helena “Martha” Deere

1911-2001

On Friday, February 16, 2001 at the Tabor Home, Morden, Martha Deere, age 89 years, of Morden formerly of the 1-6 District, went to her eternal rest.

She was predeceased by her husband Ben W. Deere in 1989, and by 2 brothers, Edward & Martin Kapchinski.

She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved daughter Carol & husband Jim Hildebrand, grandchildren Nadean & Mike Rempel, Mark & Gail Hildebrand, Kristopher Hildebrand; and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Tuesday, February 20, 2001, 2:00pm, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Morden with Pastor Fraser Coltman officiating. Interment followed at the German 1-6 Cemetery.
