Tina Goertzen

 

Tina Goertzen was born on May 3, 1966 to Jacob & Maria Goertzen in Mexico.  She moved, with her family, to Canada in 1972 and lived in Winkler, Haskett, and Schoenwiese in her youth.  She was baptized in Rosetown on May 22, 1983.  She was married to Jake Penner on July 29, 1984, and moved to Alberta.  They had two children; Eva & Aron.  Tina lived in Olds, AB. until she died on July 2, 2001.  She was 35 years, one month, and 29 days. 

 

She leaves to mourn her passing her children Eva & Aron, her parents Jacob and Maria Goertzen of Schoenwiese, five sisters and six brothers, and many nieces and nephews. 

 

She was predeceased by one brother in infancy.

 

Funeral service was held July 6, 2001 at Chortitz Old Colony Church with interment at the church cemetery.
