Sophie Eliza Lechner (nee Wickert)

 

On Monday October 22, 2001 at the Tabor Home, Morden, Sophie Eliza Lechner, age 85 years, of Morden, went to her eternal rest.

 

She leaves to mourn her passing her 2 daughters Darlene and her husband Gordon Cameron of Roland; Karen and her husband Keith Jones of Melita, Mb; 2 sons Jack Lechner of Morden; Jim and his wife Susan Lechner of Regina; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson.

 

She was predeceased by husband Jack Lechner in 1992; 1 brother Arthur Wickert; mother Paulina; and her stepfather Fred Haak.

 

Memorial service was held on Thursday October 25th, 2001 at 11:00 am at the St. Paul's United Church, Morden with Rev. Jeri Bjornson officiating.  Interment followed at the Chapel Cemetery.
