MICHAEL LEE SCHAPANSKY

1979 - 2001

 

Tragically, on Wednesday, July 25, 2001, north of Morden, R.M. of Stanley, Michael Lee Schapansky, age 22, of Roland, formerly of Winkler, went to his eternal rest.

 

He was predeceased by his grandparents George & Helen Schapansky, one uncle Fred Purkis, and one cousin.

 

He leaves to mourn his passing his parents Ed & Tina Schapansky, One Sister Sonya & Travis Malaniuk of Roland; Two Brothers Cary Schapansky of Roland; Josh Schapansky of Roland; two nieces; one nephew; and grandparents Ben & Helen Guenther.

 

Funeral service was held on Monday, July 30, 2001, 2:00 p.m., at the Winkler Mennonite Church, Winkler with Rev. Bernie Thiessen officiating. Interment followed at Winkler Cemetery.
