Johan "John" N. Wall

1906 - 2001

 

On Monday, April 30, 2001, at the Red River Valley Lodge, Morris, John Wall, age 94, formerly of Winkler, went to his eternal rest.

 

He was predeceased by his wife Mary (nee Knelson) in 1996, son Ed in infancy, son John (Myrtle) Wall, daughter Tina (Abe) Schellenberg, grandson Ed Schellenberg, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers.

 

He leaves to mourn his passing his 5 daughters Mary & John Wiebe of Winnipeg; Helen & Al DeGagne of Pine Falls; Anne & Lino D'Ottavio of Winnipeg; Evelyn Unruh of Winnipeg; Esther & Don Gessner of Sifter; 3 sons Peter & Mary Wall of Winkler; Jake & Susan Wall of Niverville; Abe Wall of Winkler; daughter-in-law Myrtle Wall of Winnipeg; son-in-law Abe Schellenberg of Winnipeg; 22 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson Kelly Boxell.

 

Funeral service Thursday, May 3, 2001, 2:00pm, at the Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Rev. Abe Wiebe officiating.  Interment at the Winkler Cemetery.
