Gustaf "Gus" Westfall

 

 

On Sunday October 21, 2001 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Gustaf "Gus" Westfall, age 90 years, of Morden, formerly of 1-6 District, went to his eternal rest.

 

Gus was a man of integrity whose absolute devotion to his family was evident to all who knew him.  With simple faith he led his family in honesty and humility.  Gus is gone but loving memories of him live on.

 

He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Anne (nee: Janzen) of Morden; 1 daughter Bonnie and her husband Robert Klassen of Elm Creek District and their children Leah, Serena, and Joseph; 1 son Ron and his wife Barb of Morden; 2 sisters Linda (Ron) Hodgson of Manitou; Bertha (Albert) Podjan of Morden.

 

He was predeceased by 1 sister Elizabeth Rothenberger; 2 brothers Herbert & Edward Westfall.

 

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 24, 2001 at the Morden Alliance Church at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Morris Vincent officiating.  Interment followed at the Chapel Cemetery, Morden.
