Diedrich J. Schroeder

1913 - 2001

 

On Saturday July 7, 2001, at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Diedrich J. Schroeder, age 88 years, of Winkler, formerly of Altona and Lowe Farm, went to his eternal rest.

 

He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife Helena Schroeder (nee Harder) of Winkler; daughter Marlene Wiens of Winnipeg; 2 sons Dennis & Linda of Steinbach; Randy & Irene of Lowe Farm; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 sister; 1 brother; many nieces and nephews.

 

Viewing will be held at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler (121 8th St.) Thursday, 1-6pm, with a devotional at 8:00pm; also viewing at the church prior to the service. 

 

Funeral service on Friday, July 13, 2001, 11:00am, at Bergthaler Mennonite Church, Altona, with Rev. Ed Funk and Rev. Menno Janzen officiating.  Interment at the Lowe Farm Cemetery.
