Nancy Clover McLeod
Peacefully, on Thursday, August 21, 1997, Nancy Clover McLeod (nee Fraser) beloved wife of the late Alick McLeod, passed away with her family at her side.
Mom was born December 19, 1932 near Carman, Mb. She was the only daughter in a family of six children. “Nancy”, she was called by her brothers and her twelve grandchildren continued this on, which Mom was proud of. Mom married Dad on May 22, 1954. They enjoyed 40 years of marriage. They resided in Morris, Lac Du Bonnet, Churchill, Morden and Winnipeg. They retired back to Morden where the family has many memories of good times in their home and yard. Getting together and enjoying Mom’s great cooking was always a treat. Mom spent many hours tending her numerous flowers in her rock gardens and flower path in her backyard. It gave her great enjoyment watching her plants grow in the spring. Dancing was something Mom really enjoyed. Mom had a great sense of humor, and this would be seen when she was teased about her height and red hair. Mom was a member of the Morden Legion & Auxiliary and enjoyed her time spent with the members. She had many friends that will miss her along with her family.
She leaves to mourn her passing four daughters, one son and 12 grandchildren, Janice and her husband Wayne Wiebe and their daughters Allison and Jaclyn; Tracy and her husband Ed Fehr and their children Amy, Ramsay and Jay; Kathy and her husband Miles Gillis and their children Evan, Shannon and Eryn; Leslie and her husband Steven Malkowich and their children Mason and Meghan; son Scott and his wife Sheila and their sons Russell and Conner.
