Thomas Murray Nichol

1925 – 2008

On Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Murray Nichol aged 82 years of Morden, MB formerly of Darlingford went to his eternal rest.

Murray farmed in the Darlingford district, moved to the town of Darlingford in 1979 and retired to Morden in 2003.

He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife, Alice (nee Morrison) of Morden; 1 daughter, Joanne and Ross Potts of Windsor, ON; 3 sons, Ken and Betty Nichol of St. Andrews, Scott and Donna May Nichol of Darlingford, Myron and Heather Nichol of Castlegar, BC; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren as well as 1 sister, Cathy Grayson of Atikokan, ON and 1 sister-in-law, Ruth Nichol.

He was predeceased by 1 daughter, Janette Nichol in 1960; 1 sister, Jean Morrow and 2 brothers, Bill (Ruth) Nichol and David Nichol.

Memorial service was held on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 2:30 pm at St. Paul’s United Church in Morden.  Ash interment followed at Hillside Cemetery.
