Sarah Flaming (nee Miller)

1922 - 2008

On Saturday, May 31, 2008 at her residence in Winnipeg, MB Sarah Flaming, aged 85 years formerly of Winkler, MB went to her eternal rest.

She leaves to mourn her passing 1 daughter, Nancy and Arvind Kati of Winnipeg; 3 sons, Bill and Helen Flaming of Cold Lake, AB, Ken and Arlene Flaming of Winnipeg, Abe and Karen Flaming of Winnipeg; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Helen Wiebe and Justina Sera.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Abram Flaming in 1946; 1 grandson, Derek Flaming; 3 sisters, Betty, Mary, Margaret and 4 brothers, Bob, Joe, Frank and Franz in infancy.

Viewing will be at the church prior to the service.  Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Crescent Fort Rouge United Church 525 Wardlaw Ave. in Winnipeg.  Interment to follow at Winkler Cemetery at 5:00 pm with reception to follow.

If friends so desire, donations may be made in Sarah’s memory to either the Alzheimer Society of MB or Winkler Bible Camp (available at the church).
