Margaret Olive Young (nee Mitchell)

1908 - 2008

On Monday, February 25, 2008 at Pembina-Manitou Health Centre in Manitou, MB Margaret Young, aged 99 years formerly of Morden and Manitou went to her eternal rest.

She leaves to mourn her passing 2 daughters, Shirley and Ray Wheadon of Victoria, BC, Bernice and Walter Voth of Okotoks, AB; 1 son, Elymer and Grace Young of The Pas; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband George Dawson Young (1953); 1 son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Sharon Young; 1 granddaughter in infancy; 2 sisters; 6 brothers and 1 brother in infancy.

Funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 2:30 pm at St. Andrew’s United Church in Manitou. Interment followed at Manitou Cemetery.
