John Collition

1918 – 2008

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Collition of Morden, MB on Monday, March 3, 2008 at approximately 4:00 pm enroute back to his home in the vehicle of a friend.  He was pronounced deceased at Boundary Trails Health Centre.

John worked for the Dept of Highways as well as for the Town of Morden.  He enjoyed playing horseshoes and gardening and especially sharing his vegetables and fruit.  Johnny (as many of us called him) often spoke of his faith in the Lord Jesus, the forgiveness of sins and his hope of going home to be with his Saviour.

He leaves to mourn his passing his nieces and nephews.  He will be deeply missed by his friends who he so enjoyed spending time with having coffee in any of the local coffee shops.

He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Tilly (nee Zombra) Collition; 1 sister, Mary Lechner; 2 brothers, Harry and Michael.

Funeral service was held on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 11:00 am at Wiebe Funeral Chapel in Morden.  Interment followed at Chapel Cemetery.
