Elsie Friesen (nee Harder)

1913 - 2008

On Thursday, April 3, 2008 at her residence at Salem Home in Winkler, MB, Elsie Friesen aged 94 years went to her eternal rest.

She leaves to mourn her passing 3 sons, Jake and Shirley Friesen of Surrey, BC (sons, Grant and Michelle, Paul and Larissa; 2 grandchildren, Madison and Jacob); Lee Friesen and Carol Wood-Friesen of Winnipeg; Dan and Charlene Friesen of Morden (daughters, Robin and Erin).

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, David H. Friesen in 1978; 1 son, Robert H. Friesen in 1956 as well as 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Rev. Art Wiebe officiating. Interment followed at Winkler Cemetery.
