Thiessen aged 80 years of Morden, MB went to his eternal rest.
He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife, Agatha (nee Hildebrand) of Morden; his 2 daughters, Carol and Isaac W. Hoeppner of Thornhill (4 daughters, Christal Hoeppner, Shari Friesen, Amanda and Joel Wiebe, Joanne Hoeppner; 2 sons, Wendell and Gena Hoeppner, Louis and Christine Hoeppner and their families), Connie and John R. Dyck of Boissevain (2 daughters, Tamara and Edgar Unrau, Kelly-Anne Dyck; 2 sons, Devon Dyck, Jason Dyck and their families); his 1 son, Bobby Thiessen of Salem Home in Winkler; 20 great grandchildren; 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
He was predeceased by his parents, Isaac A. and Mary (nee Schapansky) Thiessen; 2 daughters, Annette Rose (1963), Karen Ruth (1948); 1 sister; 1 brother and 1 brother in infancy.
Funeral service was held on Friday, January 5, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Morden Mennonite Church with Rev. Harold Hildebrand-Schlegel and Otto Hamm officiating. Interment followed at Southside Cemetery.
