Leonard Julius Pelser

1918 - 2006

On Thursday, June 8, 2006 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Leonard Pelser aged 87 years of Winkler, MB went to his eternal rest.

Mr. Pelser was a well-known barber in Winkler for many years.

He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife, Anne (nee Froese); 2 daughters Wanda Pelser and Joe Piotrowski of Gimli and her daughter, Jill Peters and son, Cole Peters, Jennifer Pelser of Whytewold and son-in-law Brian Richardson and their son, Liam Richardson and daughter, Gwyneth Richardson; 1 son Errol and Donna Pelser of Winkler and their son Nathan and wife, Andre Pelser and daughter Jodi Pelser.

He was predeceased by 3 sisters Esther Elias (John), Lillian Pelser, Ruth Hildebrand (Abe) and 2 brothers, Arthur (Olavia), Eric (Gwen) Pelser.

Funeral service was held on Monday June 12, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church. with Pastors Peter Penner and Menno Janzen officiating.  Interment followed at Winkler Cemetery.
