On Monday, March 13, 2006 at Salem Home, Gertrude Wiebe (nee Hiebert) aged 94 years of Winkler, formerly of Hochfeld went to her eternal rest.
She leaves to mourn her passing her 4 daughters Margaret and Bill Dueck of Winkler, Tina and Neil Friesen of Gilbert Plains, Eva and Edwin Peters of the Landmark district. Mary and Arne Olesen of Winnipeg; 1 son John and Linda Wiebe of Winnipeg; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Sarah Froese.
She was predeceased by her husband Peter P. Wiebe (1986), son Peter (1959) and grandson, Jeff Friesen (1995).
Funeral service was held on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 10:30 am at Bethel Bergthaler Mennonite Church with Colin Peters and Mason Peters officiating. Interment followed at the Hochfeld Cemetery.
