Sunday, October 29, 2006 at Salem Home in Winkler, Frank Wiebe, aged 81 years of
Winkler formerly of Winnipeg, MB went to his eternal rest.
He is survived by his sister Anne Krahn and sister-in-law Lil Wiebe, numerous nieces and nephews as well as friends he made through his life.
He was predeceased by his parents Heinrich and Maria (nee Janzen), brothers, Henry, Abram, George, Peter and Andy and sisters, Mary and Elizabeth.
Frank spent his early years working in the Winkler area and also worked briefly for the Canadian National Railway. In 1954, he began a 32 year career on the staff of the T. Eaton Co. fire and security department. He retired in 1986 and spent several years doing volunteer work with Winnipeg Harvest.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Wiebe Funeral Home with Rev. David Friesen officiating. Interment followed at Winkler Cemetery.
