Anne Westfall (nee Janzen)
1920 - 2006

Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Anne Westfall (nee
Janzen) aged 86 years of Morden, MB formerly of the 1-6 District went to her
eternal rest.
Anne Westfall was born February 14, 1920 at Blumenfeld, MB to Abram and Anna (nee Neudorf) Janzen. She was the second of 9 children. She accepted Christ as her Saviour as a young adult and was baptized. She drew strength from her genuine faith throughout her life. She married Gus Westfall in 1956 and together they farmed in the 1-6 District until 1984 when they retired to Morden. Anne loved to bake, cook, sew and be creative with what she had on hand. She was a loving and supportive mother who has left a rich legacy for future generations to build on. She will be remembered for her heart of service, her love of family, and her abiding faith in God.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Bonnie Klassen of Elm Creek and her children, Leah, Serena, and Joseph; 1 son, Ron and Barb Westfall of Morden; 3 sisters; 4 brothers and their remaining spouses.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gus (2001); sister, Tina, and several in-laws.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Morden Alliance Church with Rev. Morris Vincent and Rev. Paul Polonenko officiating. Interment followed at Chapel Cemetery in Morden.
