Anna Nickel (nee Martens)

1930 - 2006

On Thursday, October 5, 2006 at the Boundary Trails Health Centre, Anna Nickel, aged 76 years, of Winkler, MB, formerly of Morden and Snowflake, went to her eternal rest.

She leaves to mourn her passing daughter Lorna and Douglas Mettam of Okotoks, AB and their son Matthew, son Kerry and Esther of Mitchell, MB and their children Kaelyn and Kevin.  She also leaves to mourn three brothers and six sisters-in-law.

She was predeceased by her husband Cornelius (2004), one grandson David, two sisters and three brothers.

Funeral was held on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at the Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastors Abe Hiebert and Ben Pauls officiating.  Interment followed at Southside Cemetery, Morden.
