Allison Rose Penner
November 1-2, 2006
Allison
was born at St. Boniface General Hospital on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at
10:04 pm and passed away 1 day later on November 2, 2006 at approximately 9:15
pm in her mother’s arms.
She was born with several fractured bones and weak muscles resulting in her lungs being too weak to breathe on her own. This also resulted in them collapsing due to oxygen escaping her lungs, putting pressure around them. Her very kind doctor, Dr. Chiu, gave her relief of this discomfort several times. We are grateful to him and to the rest of the supportive staff at St. Boniface General Hospital.
Her conditions were very similar to those of her brother, Tyler. She has gone on to play with him in Paradise where they now share eternal happiness with their Creator and will never again be in pain or discomfort. For this, we couldn’t be more grateful. Though she was only with us for a day, she left a big void in our hearts, for we grew to love our precious little girl, deeply.
Allison Rose leaves behind to miss her greatly, her parents, Andrew and Marianne Penner of Plum Coulee, grandparents, Peter and Maria Harder and Henry and Gertrude Penner; great grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Reinland Mennonite Church. Interment followed at the Church Cemetery.
We, the parents and family of Allison Rose Penner would like to thank everyone for the many prayers and support. We also want to thank everyone that gave flowers, cards, etc. and everyone involved in the preparation and arrangements of her funeral including Wiebe Funeral Home.
