Wilfred Martindale

1924 - 2003

Wilfred Martindale of Thornhill passed away on October 2, 2003 at the age of 78 years.  Survived by his wife Shirley Ann Martindale (nee Smith) 2 daughters Barbara & Ken Warkentin of Thornhill, Donna Martindale of Thornhill, 1 son William Martindale of Thornhill, 1 daughter-in-law Susan Martindale of Gladstone, 12 grandchildren,  12 great grandchildren and 2 sisters.  Predeceased by 1 son Grant (1984) 5 great granddaughters in infancy, brothers Harry, Walton, Gilbert(Jack), Lloyd, and sisters Isabel, Lil, Florence and Hazel.

Funeral service was held Thursday October 2, 2003, 2:00pm at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden with Jeannette Brigit officiating.  Interment followed at the Knightcot Cemetery.  Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba.
