at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Sarah "Sadie" Martins (nee Giesbrecht), age
84, of Winkler, formerly of Reinland, went to her eternal rest.
She was predeceased by husband David D. Martins in 1997; 1 daughter Sylvia in infancy; and son-in-law Keith Wiebe in 1981.
She leaves to mourn her passing 1 daughter Jean Wiebe of Abbottsford, BC; 2 sons Ron and his wife Doreen Martins of Morden; Allan and his wife Debi Martens of London, England; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters Helen of Winkler and Katherine of Morden.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday June 25, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Home, Winkler with Rev. C.C. Thiessen officiating. Interment was held at Winkler Cemetery. If friends so desire donations may be made to Boundary Trails Health Centre - Emergency Medical Service Box 2000 Winkler, Mb R6W 1H8.
The family would like to thank the EMS of BTHC for their compassionate care; and the hospital staff for their care of mom in her brief stay. Jake and Sylvia and staff of Chicken Chef, Winkler for their concern, care and prompt action. To all the friends and family who supported us with thoughts, cards, and prayers through this difficult time.
